This place is unbelievable. Very beautiful, and very, very needy.
Yes, some of them are poor in money. Some may not know where their next meal will come from. Some will die today from lack of basic medical care.
But that's not why it's needy.
It's because most will live and die today without ever knowing Christ.
Chances are, if you're reading this, you've had an opportunity to accept or reject Christ. Whether you accepted or rejected Him, you at least had the chance.
Here, many haven't.
Such simple trust in those eyes...
Oh, how can we let them down?
Any earthly success I have sought in the past grows instantly dim when I look into the innocent faces of these children.
You think you aren't qualified? You think they can't use you?
Not everyone who goes to the mission field is highly qualified. Not everyone is perfect. But my respect for those who are here is growing by the minute, because they saw the need, and went.
Oh, I want that.
Is the Lord calling your heart?
