Not home yet.

No, we’re not home yet.

I remind myself of this, each time I am tempted to settle down and enjoy life. And believe me, I am tempted in that way, just as much as any other. But I cannot rest content, when…

Innocent children die of hunger at the doorstep of the wealthy…

…when children can violently take the life of their playmates…

…when eternal life is within reach of all, but many will perish eternally within inches of those who could have made the story different…

…when those with more earthly goods than any other, will perish with them, lacking only that which was worth the most… Christ.

Dear fellow Christian! When I live in a world where even one soul does not know their Savior…

We’re not home yet!

And by His grace, when I look at His beautiful love for us…

I no longer feel tempted by ‘Fool’s gold.’

Oh, to keep this in view…

  1. Thank you so much for sharing...this world is so full of fool's gold. May we each avoid the temptations it offers by laying up our heavenly treasure of souls.
