Confidence.

It's a rare thing in this world.

When was the last time you felt confident in anything?

Sure. Without one shadow of doubt. Implicitly trusting.

Um, that doesn't sound like how I feel towards almost anything or anyone these days...

Almost anything, that is....

There is one thing we can yet trust.

“Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ...”

– Philippians 1:6

Oh, and not only can you be confident in Him... if you are, you'll be strong.

“For thus saith the Lord GOD, the Holy One of Israel; In returning and rest shall ye be saved; in quietness and in confidence shall be your strength...”

– Isaiah 30:15

The world is on a shaky foundation, to be sure. You dare not trust much of anything.

But one thing I can say. With confidence.

Trust Him.
