Distractions.

I threw them toward him, rapid fire, aiming nowhere in particular. Yet somehow the  pinecones each ended up in his cavernous Canine jaws, with almost 100% accuracy, no matter how fast they were fired.

The Throne room buzzes. There’s only one ambassador in the area to represent the Majesty they serve. Rapid fire: a Divine appointment, an opportunity for service, a chance to represent their Kingdom…

This time, the success rate isn’t so good.  

What made the difference between man and his dog?

Focus.

We live in an age built around distractions. If you’re like most people, you may even be reading this as a result of being distracted by your technology…

Lesson learned. Distractions accomplish little other than delaying orders.


I’d like to avoid them altogether.
